It was owned by local publican Ian Nicol who owned a few pubs in the area and was a director of the nightclub, Dalearn House for a while. Some Barrheadonians have contributed a few names. The Barman is Jimmy McGorran, the gent in the white coat is Aldo Ridolfi of the Prego fish restaurant and sitting are Andy and George Pollock.
