Neilston Cattle Show 1988.
The Neilston Agricultural Society's 163rd Cattle Show took place on the 7th May 1988 at it's Kirktonfield site. The event always falls on the first Saturday of the month and is one of the earliest shows in the farming calendar. In recent years the directors had to move the event to a new site at Holehouse and although an important day for the farmers, it is also a fun day out for all the family. It is a highlight in the calendar and has always been supported by the local schools and citizens of Barrhead, Neilston and Uplawmoor. All pictures by Stephen Mansfield for the Barrhead News.
