St. Mirren Cup Final Celebrations in Paisley 1977.
On Saturday 16th May 1987 the St. Mirren Football team returned to Paisley after winning the Scottish Cup in the 1-0 final with Dundee United at Hampden Park. Ian Ferguson was the scorer and was it the teams third cup win in their then 110-year history. Huge crowds turned out at Paisley Town Hall for a civic reception to salute the team after they arrived on an open top bus to show the cup to their adoring fans.
