Barrhead Gala Day 1975.
Barrhead Gala activities in 1975 were spread over a number of weeks mainly in June. Many sports were incorporated with highlights including the iconic Craigie Race, the Cycle Race and bowling, darts, pool and more. Other highlights were the Gala Queen, Miss Barrhead and Talent Competition finals and on Gala Day, the Bonnie Baby Contest and the float procession. Pictures by Stephen Mansfield.
