Neilston Parish Church Easter Sunday Dawn Service 1988.

The congregation of Neilston Parish Church made the hike to the slopes of the iconic Neilston Pad to hold a special Easter service led by the Rev. Alexander (Sandy) MacDonald as dawn broke over the village. Service over, the younger members prepared their Easter eggs to roll down the slopes and after a return to the church hall all were rewarded with a warm roll cup of tea. Pictures were taken on the 27th March 1988 by freelance photographer Stephen Mansfield.
