Barrhead Gala Day 1984.
Barrhead Gala Day in 1984 started off a bit wet but soon the sun shone and all the annual events including the Craigie Race, Bonny Baby Competition and Pipe Band Competition went ahead as usual. The event took place in the town's Cowan Park after the Float Procession and parade made their way from the station and through the main sreets of the town.
