Grant's Whisky Annual Fete in Paisley 1986.

Grant's Whisky of Paisley held their annual garden fete for their workers and families in their grounds on Park Road on a rather dreich day on the 17th May 1986.

William Grant and Sons opened their first distillery in 1887 in Dufftown on Speyside where they produced their iconic Glenfiddich malt whisky. In 1959 the company took over an old dye works in Glenburn, Paisley were they installed a bottling plant for their Standfast brand. Employing over 240 workers at one time the company closed the works in 1994 when they moved to a new custom built factory in Bellshill.
