Erskine Gala Day 1976.
Erskine Gala Day was held on the 7th August in 1976 at Park Mains in the town. The new town in Renfrewshire on the banks of the River Erskine was founded in 1971 so this may have been the first of many galas since. Picture by Stephen Mansfield.
